Dedication to quality is an integral part of the Callfield Companion Animal Clinic story. Our two-veterinarian founding team of Dr. Elisa Spears and Dr. James Spears opened the clinic in 2001, and shortly afterward we secured accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association. To this day we remain the only AAHA-accredited vet clinic in Wichita Falls. Our current team of 6 veterinarians and 15 staff members continues to work as hard as we did back in 2001 to maintain the highest standards in veterinary care.
While some veterinary clinics are limited to working with dogs and cats, our expanded team at Callfield Companion Animal Clinic has enabled us to treat many different kinds of pets, including a wide range of small mammals, pocket pets, reptiles and birds. If you're new at caring for particular kind animal, you can rely on select members of our team to provide expert guidance and advice alongside preventative services and treatments as needed. My family has always taken all of our dogs here, and we've always been extremely pleased! All of the doctors are always super helpful, as well as the nurses and receptionists. One of my dogs was extremely sick with Parvo, and he wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for their expertise. They even called to check on him multiple times, which I thought was super sweet! I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else in town for veterinary care.
